3月10日から3月13日まで、私共は東北に1周忌の慰問と視察の旅にノーベル平和受賞者ユヌス博士と共に向かいました。
We accompanied Dr. Yunus to his sympathy visit to Tohoku disaster areas.

Dr. Yunus gave a keynote speech at East Japan Earthquake Memorial Symposium held by Japan Association of Corporate Executives at Westin Hotel Sendai.
ホテルメトロポリタン仙台で、東北大学主催でユヌス博士の東北大学名誉博士号授与式とムハマド・ユヌス博士記念講演会が開催されました。
The conferment ceremony of Honorary Doctorate of Tohoku University for Dr. Yunus was held at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai, followed by his lecture meeting commemorating the
occasion.
二部として、東北大学大学院経済学部、九州大学ユヌス＆椎木ソーシャルビジネス研究センター、特定非営利活動法人アース・アイデンティティ・プロジェクト共催でシンポジウム「ソーシャル・ビジネスで震災からの復興・再生をどう実現するか」を開催致しました。パネリストとして東北大学大学院経済学部長 大滝精一教授、九州大学知的財産本部特任教授、九州大学ユヌス＆椎木ソーシャルビジネス研究センターエグゼクティブダイレクター 岡田昌治教授、特定非営利活動法人アース・アイデンティティ・プロジェクト理事長 稲吉紘実氏、宮城大学事業構想学部教授・地域連携センター副センター長 風見 正三教授、特定非営利活動法人せんだい・みやぎ NPO センター代表理事 紅邑 晶子氏、雪国まいたけ㈱上席執行役員 佐竹右行氏にご臨席頂きました。

仙台市民広場勾当台公園で仙台市市長との面談後、公益社団法人仙台青年会議所主催の仙台市民広場でのキャンドルナイトで、ユヌス博士は仙台市立八軒中学校吹奏楽合唱部の演奏を聴き、追悼の言葉をスピーチされました。
After an interview with the Mayor of Sendai City at Kotodai Park, Dr. Yunus enjoyed the performance by Band & Chorus Group of Hakken Secondary School of Sendai City at the candle night organized by Sendai Junior Chamber at the Park, and gave a memorial speech.
